Care of Latex Rubber

To prolong the life and get the best value from Michele X Latex Rubber, the following should be noted;

Putting on your garment; powder (Talcum powder or French chalk) the inside of the item and your skin so it slides on easily. Take care when handling and be careful with finger/toe nails and jewellry so you don’t damage the material. Wipe off surplus powder with a damp sponge or cloth.

Shine; use a silicon based polish or spray to shine up your rubber, this will ensure a long lasting gloss look and protection for your purchase. Use sparingly and polish with a soft dry lint-free cloth.

Caution; Silicone Based Polish is not recommended for internal use.

Taking off your garment; use the palm of your hands or if tight fitting peel off gently.

Washing; use cold water no soap, wash by hand several times then dry off thoroughly inside and out using a soft cloth. Do not store Latex Rubber when still damp.

Storing; latex rubber must be stored away from light and heat. Place the dry item in tissue (acid-free) and store in a draw or powder lightly and keep in a plastic bin liner. Never store in newsprint paper or when the rubber is still damp. Do not store in the cold as this will make the material less supple.
